OSX 10.5.6 and SE 6.6.0r4

At some point, possibly updating to 10.5.6, when I launch SE from within Photoshop CS4 it begins to scan but then freezes photoshop before the image is produced. Otherwise, the standalone SE scan works fine. Is there a known issue with SE and CS4???

This is the second time I've tried to post this question. My first post doesn't seem to have made it to the forum.

Dear Rick,

is it possible that you have some plugins form NIK Software installed ?
This is mostly causing these are mostly causing the described problem, NIK is working on a fix for this issue.
