MacOSX and Plustek OpticFilm 7300
I have just acquired a new OpticFilm 7300 on the understanding that it was compatible with the Mac. The set up CD has no Mac driver and Silverfast SE 6.5.5r2 after going through lamp warming sequence returns error "unable to start scanner". Can you help?

Dear Customer,
you would need the latest driver from Plustek and the Latest Version of SilverFast from us.
But to unlock SilverFast you would need a replacement SilverFast CD from Plustek, just give them a ring and tell them that you
only got the PC version on your CD and they will send you a replacement out.

Many thanks for your prompt response. I have downloaded silverfast v6.6 and this immediately solved the problem without any need to use the plustek CD. I shall, however, follow your advice and request a Mac version of the CD in case this gives me additional functionality.
Thank you

Dear HowardR,
it is very likely that you would need the SilvferFast CD to actually unlock the Software.
