Leopard Support for Minolta Dimage Multi-Pro

Hello. I am a longtime Silverfast user. I currently run Ai Studio with my Epson V750 on my Mac Running OS 10.4 Tiger. I am considering your promotion and cross-grading to purchase SilverFast AI Studio for my Minolta Dimage Multi Pro. Unfortunately, it appears that you do not support OS X 10.5 with this scanner (yet you do support OS 10.5 with my Epson Scanner).

I am cautious about making an investment in your software for my Multi-Pro if it will not be supported on OS X 10.5. I do plan on upgrading to OS X 10.5 in the future either when I buy a new machine or on my existing machine.

Please tell me specifically: Is OS X 10.5 support for the Multi-Pro something that you can do on your own or do you need cooperation for either Konica/Minolta or Apple? Secondly, OS X 10.5 support for the Multi-Pro is something under the control of Silverfast, do you have plans to support it? If so, when do you plan to release it? If you defintely have plans not to support it, please inform me.

Dear Mr. Pappas,

as we need Minolta to deliver an up to date driver for this scanner in order to support it we really can not do anything about it
as Minolta sold the whole business unit to Sony but they do just manufacture Digital Cameras not Scanners.
However the following Minolta Scanner are workin with Leopard:
* Minolta DiMAGE Scan Dual IV
* Minolta DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 (not Elite 5400 II)
* Minolta DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 II
* Minolta DiMAGE Scan Elite II
