Leopard + ScanMaker 6800

I have loved using SilverFast for the past four years. I am preparing to upgrade to the Mac OS "Leopard." Is there a Silverfast driver that is compatible with my beloved ScanMaker 6800 and Leopard?

We have not positivly testet th ScanMaker 6800 yet with leopard.
I would suggest you try our free demo version if this works at your site the full version will do so aswell.

Are you intending to support the 6800??

I now have a scanner I cannot use! 6.4.4.r6 will not recognise the scanner under 10.5.x

The Silverfast Launcher will launch but the Scanner is not recognised.

The PhotoShop PlugIn does not recognise the scanner either.

have you tried installing the latest ScanWizzard Software from Microtek before installing SilverFast ?
We would need some of the resources installed by ScanWizzard in oder to communicate with the Scanner.

Does not work I'm afraid. Tells me that An error occurred attempting to calibrate the scanner.

v**s**n works fine with this scanner, so what is wrong with SilverFast?

I just tried our Scanmaker 6800 and it worked well on my MacPro running OSX 10.5.5 with the latest SilverFast version.

Was that under USB or FW400? ANd was the 6800 via a hub or direct in the case of USB?
