I've just upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard. I downloaded the latest update 6.6.2r1 for my Artix Scan 1800f but it asks for Rosetta to be installed whether I use the stand alone engine or the PS plugin. I'm sure it lists this update as OS X 10.6.x ready on your site. Am I doing something wrong or does it still need Rosetta? Also if I upgrade to Creative Suite 5 will Silverfast still work with Photoshop as an import option?
Many thanks
Is silverfast AI snow leopard ready?

Re: Is silverfast AI snow leopard ready?
Yes the current version still requires rosette which still is part of Mac OSX 10.6.
the upcoming major release will be fully native.
kind regards,

Re: Is silverfast AI snow leopard ready?
I am running Snow Leopard on an Intel Mac and I am looking for professional scanning software for my Epson GT-15000, which is USB connected.
Will Silverware AI 6.6 work? When I looked at the demo download site my understanding was that it would only support SCSI connection under OSX.
Thanks for advising

Dear cjexpat,
it is right that under OS 9 an X only SCSI is supported. We supports the scanner to Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
SilverFast will not work with this scanner under Mac OS X 10.6.
Best regards
