Compatibility question

Hi, I've found Silverfast SE 6, used original CD with serial on ebay. It is for Epson 4990 and I have Epson 4490. Someone could tell me if it is good for my scanner also? I've Macintosh OS X 10.4.11. Thank you very much for attention.

Dear vajmax,

sadly the SilverFast version you bought will only work with the scanner it was originally bundeled with.
However you could purchase a crossgrade in our webshop and get the rigth version for your scanner.
