Cannot open SF Ai 6.6.1r5

Hi,

I have used 6.5 before and worked fine, until I updated for 6.6.1r5. After that I could not start the application at all! Have a long phone conversation with the support in Germany, the gentleman was very nice and tried to help. Finally we made a new user account on the mac pro and silver fast was working. My user account which I normally use can not open silver fast. I did try more or less everything but no result! Is it any body how had a problem like that?
System: MacPro with 10.6.2

Hi,

would say thid problem must be related to some autostart item that somehow messes up your homefolder or the file permissions are wrong.
SilverFast just creates the folder /library/preferences/LaserSoft Imaging into your homefolder when it starts up for the first time
and uses this as place to store the preferences of SilverFast as well as some other customisable files like NegaFix profiles.
