Batch scan previews

Postby f32 » Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:54 pm

This is what I have:

MacBook Pro 17" 2.53 GHz Core i5 8GB
Mac OS X 10.6.8
SilverFast 8.0 Ai Studio Demo
Nikon Super Coolscan 9000 ED

I am trying to get the batch scan to work, but this far without success. How do I get previews of all the slides in a batch? I assumed one would use the JobManager, but when I click on the "Load a frame set" top left nothing happens. What am I missing? Could you please help?

Best,
Ola

Dear Ola,

you must use the tool "filmstrip overview" to get previews of the images.

Even if using the Filmstrip Overview I can´t get Silverfast scan a batch of say three 6x6cm negatives. It will only scan one image. SF8 is really difficult to understand and the documentation about how to use it seems insufficient.

You say the problem is I want to ask, do not get the solution.
I think that only solved the problem, the SF in order to truly improve the work efficiency.
Hoping to get attention.
