2 instances with 2 identical scanners?

Hi,
is it possible to have two instances of SF AI 8 running for scanning with 2 identical scanners (Reflecta DigitDia 5000) at once? I guess one instance can't handle scanning with two scanners, isn't it?

Reason I'm asking is that I have a lot of dias to scan, which takes an awful lot of time ... I can borrow a second scanner from a friend of mine, but I have only one spare computer for the scanning activities.
Being able to scan with 2 scanners would cut the time needed by half

Dear austrian99,

unfortunately that will not work. You need a second computer when you want to work with the second scanner at the same time.
