Hi,
I'm running G5 OSX.3.7 1.6GHz 768MB ram.
I have one machine running an Epson Expression 1600.
and on another Machine (same specs) running a Umax 2100XL.
Both scanners under OS 9.2 scanned in one continuous pass.
Now since going to OSX and the G5's the scanners (both of them) stop and wait for silverfast to catch up processing.
Out of frustration I got hold of an old G4 OS 9.4 to connect the Umax to. I am also running MagicScan which Scans in one pass without stopping.
Has anyone had the same thing happen

Hello Marcus,
It looks as if Silverfast scans rough data from the hardware and calculates and "translate" the corrections on the fly while scanning into the photo application. I got a Expression 1680pro and have the same effect. But the scans won?t take any longer that way, so it doesn?t matter to me. Maybe it?s a limitation of USB in OS X too, i dont know...
