Calibration files home

Postby ggdebgg2 » Fri Dec 12, 2003 3:23 pm

I got a G5 Panther , was on a G4 10.2.8, can I just copy my calibration files over?
Where do they live on the G4 and where do they need to live on the G5 Panther? I wish there was a feature under the calibrate button to find the files - is there one?

Dear ggdebgg2.

The location of the calibration files re. ICC-profiles is managed by the operating system. They "live" in the System- and User- libraries, in the folder ColorSync.
Example:

Jaguar/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/... --> <a href="/img/forum/directory_iccprofiles1.pdf" target=_blank>Screenshot 1</a>
Screenshot

Jaguar/User/UserID/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/.... --> <a href="/img/forum/directory_iccprofiles2.pdf" target=_blank>Screenshot 2</a>

Kind regards

I don't see the files I used to calibrate the scanner there. That's what I want to copy over.
