SF_App produces corrupt tiff-files

I am using Silverfast 6.018r with osx 10.2, on a titanium laptop with the microtek 8700. When I scan with SF_app, it will sometimes generate corrupted TIFFs which are unreadable by Photoshop or GraphicConverter. There is plenty room on my harddrives, the file-sizes seem also ok.

Any hints?

Which version of SF_App do you use? The latest version (1.1.4) has just been put on our web site.
Up to version 1.1.2 of SF_App there was a problem when writing rotated Tiff files - maybe this is the problem you observe?

I updated to the new SF_App, but I had still one corrupt TIFF-image in a batch of 20 images. I scanned it again, and it worked the second time.

The sucess/fail ratio is now much better
