SF 6AI didn't find SCSI Scanner on PowerBook

Silverfast 6 AI didn't recognize my Howtek 4000 on the external SCSI connector under MacOSX. It seams that only Bus 0 (internal) will be scanned. Under MacOS 9 works SF well. Is this an SF problem or a problem of OSX?

Yes it seems like, and this configuration is rather an exception. Please use a personal computer with SCSI card.

Does the Apple System Profiler find and list your Howtek scanner under OS X? If not, SilverFast won't find it, too.

Yes the profiler finds the scanner.
