What does LaserSoft know about the CCD of the LS40?

Postby dada1958 » Fri Jun 18, 2004 8:46 am

Recently I read a SilverFast online review on this web site:

http://www.silverfast.com/show/sf-vs-nikonscan/en.html

There is no comment from LaserSoft on this issue. So my question is: does LaserSoft know what the real resolution of this CCD is?

Have a nice weekend!

Probably because the user, for all the excitement over SF, doesn't have a clue. DPI has nothing to do with resolving power of the optical system, including the CCD. That user is quite happy with the interpolation provided by SF, obviously.
