Dear Canan,
SilverFast 8 fully supports OS X 10.10 (Yosemite ) and the Nikon LS9000.
A demo version is available on our download page.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Re: Using SilverFast Ai Studio8 with Mac OS X Yoseminte,
Dear Arne,
We have slides that scanned using NikonScan4 software. Yestarday and today we scanned same slides with silverfast Aİ Studio8 demo.
When I compared them. The quality of scanned slides that they were scanned with NikonScan4, so good and their size is smaller then silverfast demo's.
The image quality is turning out poor with Silverfast8
You may find nikonscan settings screen as an attachment file.
How we can manage to take best results from Silverfast?
I need your urgent reponses.
Kind regards
Canan

Re: Using SilverFast Ai Studio8 with Mac OS X Yoseminte,
Dear Canan,
SilverFast and NikonScan get the same image from the scanner.
NikonScan however has several active filters which are always turned on.
(e.g. Highlights and shadow adjustment and sharpening)
SilverFast shows the raw image.
So it is important that the highlights and shadows are set.
This can be done automatically using the image auto adjustment.
This is normally pre-set to "Auto CCR".
But you can select different correction types by clicking and holding the Auto CCR Button for about a second.
Sharpening in SilverFast can be achieved using the USM tool.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
