upgrade...can't find serial no.

Hi, this is for a forum moderator...
I upgraded to Ai 6-01r32, now almost a year later I would like to get the latest update, but I can't find my serial no. anywhere. I mentioned this a while back, but have been moving home, country etc. The moderator mentioned something about sending you a file from my computer to verify I have the paid for version etc.
