Hi,
I recently bought a license for my Nikon LS-1000. I downloaded the SilverFast SE Nikon 6.0.2r08 version and installed it and everything went just fine. Now when I open Photoshop and via the import module, Silverfast wants me to enter the serialnr, this is done by copying the exact information which was emailed to me from Lasersoft, but when I press the OK button I only get an alert sound from my mac and nothing else happens. Pressing the Demo button let's me through to the software and it works just fine except for the red demo text on the final scan. What's wrong with this software? Do I need a CD to get this to work or what? Apparently the software are able to find my scanner. I have also tried to manually entering the information into the fields but with the same results and I'm not using the letter O but the number 0. My configuration are:
Mac G4 500 dual
OS 10.2.6
768 Mb RAM
Adaptec 2906 SCSI card
40 Gb Harddrive
Photoshop 7.0.1

Dear Knight,
depending on how you got your first version (by download or on CD) you'd need:
- a SilverFast SE CD inside your CDRom drive if your first version was from a CD.
- the exact credit card name you used when you purchased the "SE online version" otherwise your serial number will NOT be recognised.
Another commen reason for iSE versions not recognising serial numbers is that users mistakenly download a "BUNDLE SE software" instead of the (correct) "Internet SE software".
If nothing helps, the latter case might effect you. Delete what you have, return to the download section and get a fresh "Internet SE" version. Use your exact credit card name with your serial number.

Where is the exact link?
Hi,
I bought my license via your webstore. I have never owned a CD so I guess I can dismiss the first suggestion from you. I'm not sure what you mean about bundle version and Internet version as this is never mentioned anywhere on the donwload page I went to. This is the page:
http://www.silverfast.com/sf-download/191/ise/en.html
There I choose English as the language and Mac as the operating system, then click the next button. There I choose PhotoShop plug-in and click the next button. I then get to a download page but it doesn't give me the option you mentioned (Bundle/Internet version), so I guess it's the correct version.
When the download is finished and I have installed the software, I start the software through PhotoShops Import menu. Silverfast starts and it give me the option to register the software. I enter the exact name and serial number Lasersoft sent me via email and then press the OK button, but all I get is the alert sound from my mac everytime I press the OK button. If I press the cancel button I get into the Demo mode, which in my case is pretty useless.
What else is there to try before thinking of getting my money back?
Do you have another link I can try or are the above link correct?
Do you want my Invoice number to check if the information you sent me is correct?
Regards,
J. Knight
