SilverFast 6.0.1r40 is out!

In case no one has noticed, the full version (non-demo) of SilverFast 6 has been posted to the Updates area. This release allows us poor LS-2000 owners (hello Nikon, are you listening?) to use this scanner under OS X.

Nikon obviously dosn?t think that the investment in developing drivers for this "old" scanner for OSX can be paid back.

LaserSoft knows from the forum that there are a lot of users that still have this scanner and would like to use it in OSX. That?s why we developed our own driver.

Yes, I remember going back and forth with a similar dialog to Nikon. I mentioned how it was a shame the way they abandoned their old customers. Luckily LaserSoft didn't feel that way!!
