SF 5.5.2r08 does not recogize scanner

When configuring the ICM profiles for my scanner (LS2000) in SF the scanner is not a valid selection under 'profiles for ICM'. The only alternative, except 'none' is 'Ricoh russian-SC 040402'. Any solution??
Im running XP prof and using SF as a PS pluging under PS 6.01.
This combo worked 100% under Win98SE
