I am not presently a silverfast user, but have been doing some reading about the different programs
I have a nikon 8000 coolscan and would like to get a program that would work with it.
I am also using a Canon 10D and would like to know if I can use the HDR program or whether I have to get the DCPro.
I am confused about the difference between the HDR and the DC Pro.
Hope that you can help with the confusion
Programs suited for Nikon 8000Coolscan & Canon 10D
get DCpro, it is HDR + digital camera specific features.
Download the demo version of DC pro and work with it.
Download the demo for the 8000, Everything should work except IT8 calibration.
Unless you need GEM and ROC, SF will do better than Nikon software. Both have a steep learning curve BTW.
See www.computer-darkroom.com for tutorials with SF.
