Hullo all!
Had occasion last night to really zoom into a scan made from a recent Fujichrome, using SF 5.5r14, Nikon LS 2000, PS 6.0.1, Mac OS 9.1. Lo and behold, there were the dreaded Nikon jaggies in full bloom! (Scan lines offset by one or two pixels, causing haloes at transition boundaries, and "dashed lines" one pixel wide throughout the image. These are NOT present on scans made using v**s**n, which costs about 1/8 of the SF price.
Before I just give up on this software, is there some workaround that will allow me to avoid this problem?

Nikon Jaggies
-Uncheck Limit Gamma slope if checked.
-Uninstall Nikonscan and Silverfast, remove all links and files, according to the following link, after reboot install Silverfast again:
http://www.silverfast.com/support/nikon ... all-en.htm
-Don't use the colormanagement/Nikon LS2000 scanner profile.
Although I don't have your problems, it improved my scans and are the same quality now as v**s**n.
Silverfast doesn't like Nikonscan, so lasersoft advices not to install Nikonscan, I don't like this at all!!!!!!
