Nikon Coolscan V ED blueish scanning of Kodachrome

Recently purchased V ED works fine but almost all Kodachrome slide scans (Calibrated RGB) have a bluish tint, I have to add 20 % green in Tool Palette 1 - Color Balance to get a fair white color.
Also scans are too dark, I have to increase the Lightness in the LCH editor even when I use the Scan Image Enhancer, which also lightens the pix.
Is there a way to permanently correct these two problems?

as there's no "LCH editor" in SilverFast, I assume you're talking about the Nikonscan software? Unfortunately, I am unable to help you with that - you might want to check with Nikon tech support about the issue.
