Nikon announces new line of film scanners

Nikon's new line if film scanners can be found on their European sites (www.europe-nikon.com).

The new models are
Coolscan V ED (4000 dpi, ? 749)
Super Coolscan 5000 ED (4000 dpi, ? 1399)
Super Coolscan 9000 ED (4000 dpi, no price yet)

For the V and 5000 model the scan times are supposed to be considerably shorter, all models come with DigitalICE 4.
Since their prices are lower than half of their predecessors, the 9000's price might be somewhere around ? 2000.
