Nikon 8000 Ed scan with FH 869 M SLIDE HOLDER

How do I scan a 3.5 X 3.5 mounted slide in the second space provided in FH-869m slide holder? I use it with Hasselblad XPAN slides. It works with the software provided from Nikon. But I cannot make Silverfast scan anything but the slide mounted in the first space of any of the slideholders.

can you tell me what exactly the problem is or how the Software does not allow you to do just that ?
