Hiya. I'm considering purchasing SilverFast and have played around with the demo of the product a bit. I couldn't find a Negafix profile for cross-processed reversal film (I shoot Velvia, which I process in C-41 chemistry).
Is there anybody out there who might have come up wtih a profile that will get my images closer to where they fall in the negative when I scan them with my Nikon Super Coolscan 5000?

Dear belefant,
we can not provide Negafix profiles for crossprocessed films since everybody has their own little secrets and setting when crossing film. But I would think that using the manual settings in Negafix will get you to an expected result. It is not that complicated and there is no magic behind it
Check out Ian Lyons tutorial for scanning negatives with SilverFast --> http://www.computer-darkroom.com/sf5-ne ... afix_2.htm
Under Step 7 he describes how to create custom negafix profiles.
Best,
JAN
