Hi folks,
Did anybody figure out the problem of aligning 120 strip film in LS-8000's strip film holders (FH-835S and FH-869G).
Nikon Scan 3.1 offers a "strip film offset" feature to properly align the image in thumbnail view before scanning. I couldn't find it in SF Ai 5.5.
Any tricks I haven't discovered on this forum?
Thanks,

Grischa

Dear Grischa,
where in NikonScan (with LS8000) do you see this button?
I tried to find it with these two holders but I did not find it.

Dear Mr. Kohler,
you'll find this really useful feature in:
Tools/ Tool Palette1/ Scanner Extras/Strip Film Offset/ Boundary Offset.
You can only access it in Nikon Scan 3.1 in combination with any of Nikon's medium format film holders, which basically allows the film strip's location to be readjusted within the scanner to match the scanning area.
You can control the adjustment in thumbnail view.
With SF I sometimes have to take the filmstrip out of it's holder and reposition it to match the actual scanning area.
Thanks for your help.
Vielen Dank

Grischa
