LS-20 and Windows 2000

Hello,

i have an old LS-20 and i want to use them with W2k. But Photoshop(5.5) with Silverfast 3Ai says "Cannot use Import because no scanner found". The SCSI-Card is correct installed and the scanner was detected by W2k. I installed the brand new ASPI from Adaptec which is especially for W2k. But the same error. Does anyone get this combination working?

Dear Anotherone.

I am affraid, this combination will not work. SilverFast v3 uses ASPI under Win95, Win98 and WinME, but it uses the system driver calls under WinNT and Win2K and WinXP. This is the reason, why an update to the newest ASPI drivers doesn?t help.
I think, you have now two possibilities:
1. Upgrade to a current version of SilverFast Ai, which also has a lot new features, or
2. Buy a current SilverFast SE version, which is a light version.
In any case try to download a current demo version from our website first, to see if it works.
