ICE results on LS4000 -- opinions?

Postby braver » Thu Jun 02, 2005 11:14 pm

I wonder what do people think about applying ICE to batch scans on LS4000, and how do you compare the three outcomes -- (1) without ICE, (2) with simple ICE, (3) with ICE V (fine), when using SilverFast.

Also, NikonScan has certain parameters for post-processing ICE -- are those helpful in any batch scan? Are they really useful for individual slides? If so, is this a reason NikonScan can be preferred for some scans? (Didn't use it in ages, wonder why would I leave SF for a moment, but the extra options are there.)

Cheers,
Alexy
