How do you IT8 profile a non-Silverfast IT8 35mm target?

I have a Velvia IT8 target and I was wondering how to use it with Silverfast's profiling feature to make a Velvia profile I can use whenever I am scanning Velvia? It doesn't have Silverfast's barcodes so I don't think Auto IT8 profiling will work. What is the proper procedure?

Dear hassiman,
if you have the correct reference file for that target and if the target follows it8 standard, then you just switch off the automatic it8 calibration in the Options and you have to "frame" the desired area manually, like shown in the calibration dialog.
Also the reference file will not be found & downloaded automatically, the software will ask you for the location of the reference file.

If you follow these steps the calibraion should work out fine !
