SilverFast 5 for Nikon LS-2000 as a Twain driver with Photoshop 5.02 under Win2KPro.

Having inserted a strip of four negatives into my scanner, how do I get SilverFast to scan anything other than the first image? If it's in the manual, I can't find it.

I am also experiencing a problem regarding no evident way to select a particular frame number on a film strip! Surely there is a simple way around this?

The trick is usually making sure the film strip carrier is in the scanner BEFORE you launch SilverFast. You haven't indicated which scanner you are using, which would have helped. Nevertheless, the following tutorial seems to have a lot of struggling users (myself included) get round the problem.

All is well now - the problem was overcome by pressing the icon that looks like a dozen little squares, for a preview of all slide or neg frames at once. This should be able to be done whether in batch or normal mode.

After following the advice, i.e. film adapter inserted before starting SF, I can get the preview of all the frames on the strip BUT no matter which one I select it will only scan frame 2. This is using a Nikon LS30. Any other Ideas??

You must also go to the "General" tab and select "Document Feeder" in the field labelled "Original". Also set the "Scan Mode" foeld to "Batch........"

The above assumes that your not using the Job Manager feature.
