Hi,
I have the Kodak, Kodachrome and Provia IT8 targets from Silverfast as well as a Velvia 50 target from another maker. They have been scanned in and auto-profiled by Silverfast ( the Silverfast IT8 targets ) with my Nikon 9000. I would like to know how, when I switch film types, I can point Silverfast to the proper profile for the film I am using instead of having to re-profile each time. Where in the OPTIONS/CMS panel do I find the profiles listed... and what are the profiles named? When the Auto- profile IT8 function is used one never sees the name of the file being saved. I have the regular Kodak, Provia and Kodachrome 35mm IT8 targets. I am using Mac Leopard.
Thanks
How do I scan a number of IT8 profiles and use them again?

Dear hassiman,
in the Options you can uncheck the Option to generate the ICC Profile name automatically.
If you do so, you will be prompted for a name each time you generate a profile...
If you choose this name according to your film type you can easily find that name again in the ICC Profile drop down list and select it to your wishes !
best regards,
