Dear vs,

it seems you just discovered a bug in SilverFast for the LS8000 we were not aware of.
I assume you have installed the new NikonScan 4.
The bug is, that SilverFast will not detect correctly the possibility to use the FilmStripOffset tool with the new MAID module for the LS8000 (v1.3.0.3001) that comes with NikonScan 4.
Expect the bug to be fixed in 6.2.0r7.

Best regards
Ralf

Dear vs,

I believe that we are installing the new MAID module v1.3.0.3001, too.

Hi
I have recovered another "New thing" SF 6.2.0r4 for NIKON 8000.
Now I have to calibrate both a 24x36 tranperet and a 6x9 cm. tranperent.
I have only calibrate transperents in 24x36 add 4"x5". Is it now nessary to buy a specially 6x9 transperent target to have a calibratet workflow also for 120 format.
I have used SF since v.4 for different Nikon scannes and this is a guite new thing for me.

In my SF 6.2.0r4 for PFU 2400pro is the now in CMS vulues for both reflectives and tranperantices, This can I understand but not for Nikon, vho is a tranperentscanner

bedst regards

I am having problems aligning medium format negatives in the Nikon Coolscan 8000. I can't seem to find the film strip position tool that is mentioned in the manual. How do I align the negative please? My version of Silverfast is 6.2.Or4

Most current version seems to be 6.2.1r2. i believe that was fixed recently.
