Error logs

All the problems with Nikon film scanners

Job Manager has suddenly started crashing my system! On trying to correct the first file, on Prescan the system tells me that it couldnt complet the request due to a programme error. When this message is closed I get -"Photoshop has generated errors and will be closed down by Windows, you have to restart Program". An "Error Log" is being created. Silverfast has been removed completely and reloaded twice as per message to YAQITWN in November .
Where can one find this Error log? and is there a fix for this problem

Wich scanner ? System ? Version ?

System is Win 2000P, Scanner NikonLS2000, Siverfast5.5.1 r03, Photoshop 6.01.
After repeated reloading etc. the system has now cleared and appears to be functioning again. However I would like to be able to find the error log and see what is claimed to be the problem. Reloading Silverfast is not a task I look forward to, as I lose my presets and calibrations etc! I did a search for Error logs but while there are many none are from Photoshop or Silverfast.
