Ejecting the film after scanning

Postby Jonz » Mon Dec 09, 2002 1:07 am

I just loaded the demo hoping to be blown away with everything that the Nikon software wont do.......but.....

After a test scan, how do I eject the film. Im using a LS-4000 with film feeder.

Thanks

Down the column of buttons on the left side of the Preview window, you will find a button whose icon looks like a document with a corner folded down with an arrow beneath it. That's the Eject Film button (or Eject Original according to the SF FAQ).

Hint for more exploration with SilverFast.
Whenever you point to a button or field, SilverFast displays short explanations about the button in two places:
  1. in a Tooltip balloon that appears above the button or field after roughly 1.5 seconds
  2. in the white frame area at the base of the Preview window.
You can learn quite a lot from these notes although it would be nice if we could turn off Tooltips. Maybe soon...
