does SF Ai (NikonM) use the new Nikon MAID library yet?

has SF Ai (NikonM) been updated to use the new Nikon MAID library yet? I've read the Read Me for NikonScan 4 and there appear to be a few fixes in the MAID library that also apply to those of us using the 4000ED.

SilverFast Ai has implemented the "new" Nikon MAID library from November '03 since December '03. Is there a more recent one available?

the new MAID libraries have the same names as the old ones, so if you install NikonScan 4, SilverFast will use the new MAID libraries. The currently available SilverFast versions are working with the new libraries, so you can give it a try.

does the SF Ai NikonM installer install the v4 MAID libraries or do we need to install NikonScan 4 manually before installing SF Ai NikonM?

the installer guy told me that we install the new MAID libraries.
To be sure you should first install SilverFast and afterwards NikonScan 4. Both should do a version check, but one never knows...
