Color & calibration in Silverfast AI for Nikon Coolscan

:cry: The demo seemed to work well but my $300 purchase yields terrible color --garish and off (as compared with Nikon Scan), with and without the profile created by calibrating. I downloaded update (6.4.3r9) but this made little difference. "Support" has not replied to my e-mail of 5 days past. Any suggestions? For starters, where in the documentation is choice of settings under CMS (in options) clearly described?
