Cleaning Nikon coolscan 8000 ED

Somebody who knows hovw to clean Cleaning Nikon coolscan 8000 ED? My scanner is old now. Can i open it at clean lens and take away dust to get sjarper scans??? Anyone sees a video of this. Or do i have to send the scanner to å spescialist which I may be cannot fint anymore ???

Nikon still offers support for the device.

I would not open the scanner unless you know exactly what you are doing.
The lenssystem and scanner head transport is very delicate.
be carefull when you try to clean it.
