Cannot Install Nikon Demo

I was looking to try out your product on my new LS40. When I double-click on the file name the Installshield Wizard window comes up but is blank (white). Clicking NEXT brings up a license agreement box that is blank (grey). I cannot continue from there. The filename is SFTWE-5.5.0D09(NikonM). Any ideas?

Dear Anonymous,
that demo version you mentioned runs o.k. on my Windows machine! I checked it when I saw your message. Is there nothing to see on your dialog? Did you try re-downloading that software?

[This is another anonymous user] I have an identical problem. I am running Windows 2000 SP2, and have a Nikon Coolscan 4000. I observe identical behavior when attempting to install the demo of SilverFast. If you have any suggestions, please email me at plu@fas.harvard.edu. Thank you.

I think there is a conflict with the Video driver. When I remove my notebook from its docking station (S3 driver) and use the native laptop video chip (ATI), the program installs.
