Can't seem to get SF AI Studio HDR files to open in ACR 4

I made my first HDR scan using SF AI Studio. It saved out as a .Tif file.

I have Adobe Camera Raw set to open RAW/Tif and Jpg files in ACR... Not CS3 but for some reason ACR will NOT open the file from Silverfast in ACR... just in CS3.

Might anyone know why? :roll:

Could ACR open TIF files (48bit) from other sources ?
Some Cameras could save TIF files (Nikon), maybe ACR could only open files, which are from cameras in his internal list of camera profiles.
