Calibration Issues

Postby redsvt » Tue Oct 28, 2003 10:28 am

Greetings-
Here is my problem. I am trying to calibrate my scanner. I am using Picture Window Pro with AI standalone. Under the CMS tab under the first header of color mgmt, I do not have the option of selecting scanner-internal-and checking calibration. Instead the dialog window displays the following. Color mgmt-input internal-None or ICM. I have no other choices. Secondly the internal-monitor option I cannot save as automatic, it is grayed out. There is a definte difference from the scanned image, then what is opened in the editing program. BTW I have the same issues when using the plugin with PS7. Version is Ai 6.1.0.r5.

The "calibration" is deleted. You should now use "ICM" (scanner->intern) and scanner(trans/refl) the saved profile.
The "internal" colorspace need to be the same , like in the hostsoftware. That is needed to get the same results in Preview/Endscan. With Photoshop as host you could select "automatic" for intern->monitor.

kind regards
