48-bit Mode Disappeared

Just started scanning negatives on my LS-50. I completed about 10 scans in 48-bit mode and thought I'd try 48-bit HDR mode.

I didn't like the results, so I tried to switch back to 48-bit mode. However, 48-bit mode is now grayed out on the 'Scan Type' drop-down list, as is 16-bit Grayscale.

I'm using Silverfast SE Plus, 6.5.5r1 Mac OS X.

How can I get those options back?

one way is to delete the prefs files (search the faq) or you may be able to just use a different scan set ( frame) on the main options page. Just delete the name that is there and uncheck save until you have what you want.
