Hi,

I have a problem with Nikon CoolScan 4000 (firewire). I'm using Nikon Scan 3.1.2, Win2K and original FireWire card from Nikon.

Sometimes the NikonScan starts without any problem and I can scan many slides until it jammes. After jamming shows me NikonScan alert: "Nikon Scan was unable to find any active device". I must reinstall drivers, clear windows registry and reinstall Nikon Scan to scan other 20 slides until it jammes again. The green light on the scanner is blinking slowly while scanner is booting so there shouldn't be any hardware error.

Do you have any suggestions? I had similar problem with LS 2000 running on other computer under W2K, the solution was to install new ASPI SCSI drivers. I can't find any new drivers for FireWire card.

Thanks for any Idea
