Help Help Help. I'm looking for a solution and I need a lot of help. I have over 800ft of 35mm colour negative film. I would like to scan and archive each frame (1 by 1) and have it saved to an external drive. I can cut the film into shorter rolls if needed but essentially I need a solution that can handle this large volume. Has anyone had this problem? If so, so what is the solution?
Please help.

Dear Sanj,
with 35 MM Film our SilverFast Archive Suite with the integrated find frame feature should be quite sufficiant, you can try out a Demo for free if you want.

What's the best scanner to use for this?
I need a one that is fast, has a high sharp resolution and a very high dynamic range more than 4K.

Dear Sanj,
I think you would need a very good Flatbett Scanner or a Nikon LS4000/5000 and the Reflecta ProScan and RPS as they would feed the film through the scanner with the appropriate film holder.
Most other Film-Scanners do not have the possibility to feed Film through so you could just use a already cut film strips.
