I purchased SilverFast after much frustration and poor technical support from Microtek with their ScanWizard Pro. Silverfast seems superior in every way.

But Scanwizard has one feature I wish were available in SilverFast. The ability to maintain and toggle the view among several enlarged prescans.

I typically prescan two strips of 6 35 mm negs in my Scanmaker 5 and then select a frame for the enlarged prescan. If I then select another, the first is gone and must be scanned again to see it again. It is difficult to make critical comparisons of similar images.

Thank You.

You are right, that is a feature that we have to look into.
For zooming into different areas of a single image we already have the feature of the

High Resolution Prescan<br>

The High Resolution Prescan can be set under "Option". The first prescan will be somewhat slower, but then you can quickly zoom into different areas of one prescan whithout having to do another prescan.
