Possible bug-Batch scanning and settings

Postby Siamack » Tue Oct 15, 2002 5:23 pm

Environment - We are using LS6 on Mac OS 9.2.1 with dual monitors, PhotoShop 7.0.1 attached to a Nikon 8000 scanner. The hardware and software are properly installed and tested.

Job Manager ? This is an extremely useful feature of SF6. The only problem we have found so far is that when we apply a Setting (concerning image manipulation such as filter, resolution, etc., from the Frame tab) to an image within the job, it will cause JM to behave unpredictably. The erratic behavior of JM includes, 1) processes the scans without saving the files, or 2) scans the images, then generates and saves horizontal noise lines only. Otherwise JM is working very nicely as long as we don?t apply any settings? I wish we could use settings.

Many thanks for your prompt attention. Of course in the software business there is no such thing as bug free software...what matters is how well the software manufacturer responds to user feedback. LaserSoft is most responsive.
