One Button Access in Photoshop

Postby RAG » Mon Jan 02, 2006 7:42 pm

It would be great if there were "One Button Access" to SilverFast within Photoshop. It is possible for an end user to re-assign keyboard commands in PhotoShop, but nothing beats the ease of use and elegance of a button. Direct and immediate access would improve my workflow. :D

Dear Sir

while I certainly agree with you that sometimes the sheer simplicitely of just clicking a button to call up an application instead of hunting for a menu entry appeals quite a lot, we are not going to modify Photoshop in any respect.
There might be tools out there which will provide such a feature (i.e. by adding a further tool bar to Photoshop's interface) though I unfortunately fail to recall any such name of a given piece of software.
Good luck googling... 8)

Thanks for the response!

Just so that you know I got the idea after doing a trial of Genuine Fractals 4.1. They place a button on the tool bar, so I thought it was something Adobe had provided for in the application.
