Mulit-Pass scans and RGB Scanning

Does Silverfast support multiple pass scans on scanners that do not include this feature in their drivers, e.g. Canon FS4000US? What about separate RGB channel scans, such as on my Epson ES1000c?

Multi pass scanning is not possible for SilverFast if the hardware is not designed to accept such commands. Single channel scanning is not possible either, as we did not believe (so far) that there is a demand for scanning just one color channel. However, SilverFast features single color channel preview in CMYK Mode (button in SilverFast densiotmeter), where each of the four channels can be previewed individually. This is documented in the "Addendum V5.pdf" file (SilverFast download site).
