I batch scan photos, fix them up, and print them into archival, hardbound books. The HP 5500 automatic photo feeder is great- and being able to do batch/autofeed print scanning (that rarely jams up), flatbed print scanning, negative scanning, and slide scanning with one machine is great too. The only thing I have that I can't scan on it are my 4x5 negatives.
I would really appreciate it if you release support for this versatile model. I know it just came out, and I hope it's on your to-do list. And if you support it before next year, I'm not kidding, I really will mail your developing staff home-baked cookies. And as long as I'm wishing for things, if you can make Epson actually supply a Stylus 2200p for me to buy in the next two weeks, I'll come clean your house for a week.
Thanks,
Tom.

Tom,
Might I suggest that you rephrase the NO option such that the term "sucks" is removed. The forum is provided by LaserSoft as vehicle through which "we" the user and "they" the vendor can communicate issues and information. HP may not be too pleased (with LaserSoft) to see users provided with an opportunity to say that one of their scanners SUCKS!
With respect to the Epson 2200/2100 - Epson have already indicated that orders have far exceeded "anticpated" demand. There is a CONSIDERIBLE back order list throughout the world for this printer and we are unlikely to see ANY significant improvement this side of XMas

Hi!
I'm waiting for support to the HP Scanjet 5500C because I want to buy one. Without support it's not attractive. Since this model win's many comparing tests in magazines or is there one of the best, LaserSoft should soon offer a suitable SilverFast version. As I work already with SilverFast in combination with a Heidelberg Saphir HiRes, I won't use two different scanning programs.

Hewlett Packard 5500c
I was hoping to find you have support for these scanners. Specifically, for OSX 10.3.x. HP hasn't yet responded to my pleas, asking me to revert to 10.2
, which is not my habit (going backwards to get a new scanner to work with current operating systems). They have a new disk posted, but don't indicate its content,so I'll know when it arrives if it is the same old thing. I'm not happy with HP for this, the scanner worked acceptably in 10.2.x (up to 10.2.3, I believe), but hasn't been useful for anything but gathering dust since, which is a shame. When it has drivers, it's superb. HELP!!!
