How about adding Actions...

Postby clacknut » Mon May 11, 2015 1:31 am

Hi, I use photoshop actions all the time... as a lot of what I am doing scanning in old magazines eta, is repetitive, and anything that quickens up my work load is a great help...

I am constantly flipping my silverfast between different sets of settings...
eg. 1200 dpi and a particular curve for B&W, large Magazine I scan at 600 DPI, Small at 800 Dpi, etc...

and as I flip though these magazines (making Clip art Libraries) I have to change my settings bacwarks & so from one page to another.

How about Actions (as Photoshop actions don't cary over to silverfast), so that I can have "preset" settings sets...

and it would be even greater if you could save them as 'Buttons' along the top row of the silverfast menu...

any votes for this feature...
regards, Sandy

Dear Sandy,

Using adaptive presets is already planed for future versions of SilverFast.
But I do not know if it is even possible to forward Photoshop actions to SilverFast.
But I will forward your suggestions to my colleagues.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Hi,

I know I can't include silverfast in an recorded photoshop action.

I have tried using external filters Such as OnOne filters and the results have been a disaster.

so internal actions and presets with in silverfast would be such a great AND helpful feature...

Regards, Sandy
