Free Hand Scan Selections

Postby RAG » Mon Nov 14, 2005 7:25 pm

It would be great if it were possible to do free hand selections of the image to be scanned. Currently we are limited to square/rectangular bounding boxes, but some times we want to scan something that is not square, like a circle or pieces of a torn picture.

If this is possible I think it would be a great benefit, because as you know adjusting image tonality is more of a challenge when you have to deal with non-image information (borders).

Dear RAG

thanks for your ongoing inspiration.
I will enter your request into our development database.
Some future version of SilverFast might feature this function.

Best regards
